WellnessKits Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Shuang Chen, operating under the name WellnessKits (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use WellnessKits mobile applications (including Two Moves!, My Principles, and related digital tools) and services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Summary
- Most of your timers, settings, reminders, reflections, and activity history stay on your device.
- For applications with optional AI features (such as Two Moves!), text you choose to submit is processed by our server and external AI providers.
- We process limited technical identifiers and purchase information to protect the Service, enforce usage limits, and verify subscriptions.
- We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.
- WellnessKits applications are intended for adults aged 18 and older.
2. Information stored on your device
WellnessKits applications store app data locally on your device, including saved timers and projects, app settings and language, reminder preferences, onboarding status, activity progress, personal principles, widget information, AI consent status, AI drafts, and local usage information. This data is used to provide the app’s features and is not routinely uploaded to us.
Local notifications are scheduled through Apple’s notification system after you choose to enable them. Our applications do not require notification permission in order to use basic features.
3. Optional AI features
Optional AI features in our applications require your explicit permission before sending text you enter to an external AI provider. When you submit text, we send the text, along with limited technical request information, through our backend to:
- DeepSeek for users routed through our mainland China service; or
- Google Gemini as the primary provider for users routed through our global service.
For global requests, the server includes an optional DeepSeek fallback. It is used only when that fallback is enabled and Google Gemini encounters an eligible temporary service-availability failure. It is not used for rejected prompts or invalid input. When used, the submitted text is processed by DeepSeek instead of Gemini for that request.
The provider processes the text you submit to structure it into timer steps or decision templates. Our backend does not intentionally save raw text after completing the request. A copy of your draft and generated result may remain on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
AI providers may process prompts, outputs, IP addresses, usage details, and safety or diagnostic information under their own terms. Do not submit names, financial details, medical records, or sensitive information. AI output may contain errors and is not medical, legal, or professional advice.
4. Technical, security, and usage information
When you use smart features or contact our backend, we may process:
- a randomly generated device identifier;
- your IP address and approximate service region;
- request time, selected provider, model, character counts, response status, and error information; and
- usage counters used to enforce usage limits and cost controls.
We use keyed hashes of device identifiers in rate-limit storage. We use this information to provide the Service, prevent abuse, secure our systems, diagnose failures, and enforce plan limits. We do not use it for cross-app advertising or user profiling.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. To verify and maintain access to paid features (such as WellnessKits Pro), we receive and store limited App Store transaction and subscription information (product ID, transaction ID, expiration date, renewal status). We associate this with a protected device identifier so the app can restore entitlements.
6. Support communications
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments to respond to your request, investigate problems, and meet legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive health or identity information.
7. How we use information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide app features, subscriptions, AI generation, and reminders;
- verify purchases and restore paid access;
- enforce usage allowances and protect security;
- respond to support and privacy requests; and
- comply with applicable law.
8. Service providers and disclosures
Our service providers currently include Apple (distribution, purchases, and transaction notifications); Google Cloud Run (the primary global backend); Google Gemini (primary global AI processing); Tencent Cloud and DeepSeek (mainland China routing and AI processing, with DeepSeek also available only under the conditional global fallback described above); Upstash (protected usage-limit and entitlement records); Vercel (public web hosting and retained rollback services); Google/Gmail (support communications); and Resend (operational email alerts). We do not sell personal information to third parties.
9. Retention
Local app data remains on your device until deleted or uninstalled. Support messages and purchase records are retained for operational, legal, and accounting requirements.
10. Your choices and rights
- You can use core app features without enabling optional AI.
- You can delete locally stored app data at any time.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID Settings.
To exercise privacy rights, email support.wellnesskits@gmail.com.
11. No sale, advertising, or cross-app tracking
We do not sell personal information. WellnessKits applications do not include third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
